About Me

1994.

The Channel Tunnel opens, Nelson Mandela becomes President of South Africa and Daniel Sean takes his first steps into the jewellery industry.

After leaving college with a City & Guilds in plumbing in a recession, lack of opportunities lead me to apply for a full time job in a small family run jewellers. That plumbing qualification was to be jewellery gold, with the owner saying ‘So do you think you could solder gold and silver like you've been doing with brass, copper and lead?’.

And so the beginnings of Daniel Sean Jewellery were born.

I learnt in-house doing basic repairs, ring sizing, chain repairs and more for a couple of years. Changing my role to specialise in trade repairs meant that I learnt how to make more unique items and get a real understanding for well-made, quality jewellery.

Furthering my experience regards mounts and settings, a new workplace role gave me the opportunity to work for more prestigious clients and famous designers as that jewellery twinkle in my eye continued to shine brightly.

And the rest of the story?

You could say it remains unwritten, but that passion for my work never wavers and from small jewellery repairs to bespoke designs, I am dedicated to my craft and your satisfaction, Simple.
